Bayer to Face Irish Roundup Weed-Killer Claims

Following on the three verdicts in the United States that Bayer’s Roundup Weed Killer caused cancer the Moloney Law Firm is fielding enquiries from cancer victims in Ireland who were exposed to the Roundup Weed Killer.  The claims allege that exposure to this popular herbicide Roundup caused the clients to develop non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL) a blood cell cancer.

Speaking about the Court decisions in the United States Liam Moloney said today “studies have repeatedly linked the glyphosate chemical sold under the Roundup and Ranger Pro brands to non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL).  In fact, in 2015 the International Agency for Research in Cancer ruled to classify glyphosate as a probable human carcinogen. Thousands of legal claims have now been filed in the United States following these judgements and it is likely that similar claims will be taken in Ireland as Roundup was widely used by consumers, agricultural and local authority workers.”
